About the Artists

This exhibition has been created by a passionate, dedicated group of artists who have been brought together through the Creative Confidence & Calling Intensive.

For six weeks, these artists have been exploring the limits, value and capacity of their creativity. This exhibition is a celebration of their journey.

Susan Ralston

Clifford Meyer

Born in 1970 to migrant parents from Mauritius and the Netherlands, I discovered a passion for creating works of art from the age of two. My delight for creating grew into a career of teaching and inspiring young people, both in schools and in the marketplace.

Shad Watson

Shad Watson is an artist who grew up on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. He found his passion for art at age 13. Later in life, he completed a double Bachelor degree in Arts and Teaching. For 10 years, Shad was a secondary arts teacher.

An accomplished artist, Shad has previously exhibited his work in the Manyung Gallery and Oak Hill Gallery in Mornington.

At the creative Confidence & Calling Exhibition, Shad will be debuting several new, original pieces that explore an abstract expressive style in mixed media. His rich, textured pieces seek to journey through deeper aspects of the human condition, beginning with moving, powerful statements speaking to men’s mental health.

Anna Margaret

Having studied digital and B&W photography in college, Anna has continued with her passion for photography for over a decade, ranging in experiences from travel photography to digital SLR street photography (converting film to prints in a dark room). In recent years, her interest has turned to the versatility of a mirror less camera, and combined with Lightroom editing, embarked on developing her own greeting card ranges and wall prints to be sold individually and at her first market stall in 2019.

Anna is passionate about using her camera to capture and celebrate the beauty and intricacies of life’s moments with her audience.
